Bloodbath in Katsina: Bandits Kill Dozens, Abduct Many in Kankara

It is reported that over fifty people have lost their lives in five villages in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State on Sunday, following attacks by bandits.

According to Katsina Times, numerous people were abducted, and properties were looted and taken to the forest.

Last Tuesday and Wednesday, the bandits launched similar twin attacks in Dutsinma and Safana Local Government Areas, where over forty people were killed. Another source claims that over a hundred people were killed in fifteen villages in the region.
